Smart Tagger Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Smart Tagger Shopify app operated by Light Green AI. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you (the Shopify merchant installing the app) and Light Green AI regarding use of Smart Tagger (“the app”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the app. Your use of Shopify remains governed by Shopify’s own terms and policies.
2. The Service
What Smart Tagger does
- Analyzes storefront behavioral events
- Computes product metrics used by your rules
- Applies and updates product tags in your Shopify catalog
Features available to you depend on your selected plan tier.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain a valid Shopify store and account
- Approve only the scopes you intend to grant
- Configure tagging rules appropriate for your store
- Disclose storefront tracking in your own store privacy policy
3. Plans and Billing
Plan tiers
The app offers Free, Growth, Pro, and Scale tiers with different visitor limits, rule allowances, and data retention windows. Every plan includes a 30-day free trial.
Shopify billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify’s billing system according to the plan you select in the app.
Limits
We may enforce plan limits on products, retention, or features. Exceeding limits may require an upgrade.
Changes
We may update plan features or pricing with notice through the app or Shopify listing where required.
4. Acceptable Use
Lawful use only
You may use the app only for lawful purposes related to operating your own Shopify store.
No abuse of the service
You may not attempt to reverse engineer, overload, disrupt, or circumvent the app’s security or plan limits.
Accurate store data
You are responsible for the accuracy of product catalog data and rules you configure in the app.
Our collection and use of data through Smart Tagger is described in the Smart Tagger Privacy Policy. By using the app, you also acknowledge that privacy policy.
You remain the data controller for behavioral data collected from visitors to your storefront. The app acts as a processor on your behalf.
Light Green AI retains all rights in the app, including software, branding, and related materials. You retain rights in your store content and product catalog.
You grant us a limited license to process your store data solely as needed to provide the app’s features.
The app is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Light Green AI disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that tagging will produce any particular sales outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Light Green AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data arising from use of the app.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from Shopify. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.
On uninstall, session records associated with your store are deleted as described in our privacy and data deletion pages. Tags already written to Shopify products are not automatically removed.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
